Privacy
NegativeEV keeps an internal, first-party record of the bet checks run through the site, to operate it, keep it secure, and improve its accuracy. It is never sold and powers no third-party ad tracking.
What each check records
- The bet text you submit, and whether it was typed or from an uploaded screenshot.
- The graded result — verdict, edge, and whether it fully graded.
- Coarse location: country and region. City only outside the EU, UK, and Switzerland.
- Your browser, language, and (outside the EU/UK/Switzerland) the referring site.
- Whether you opened the analysis, reported a bug, or flagged the analysis.
- Your account email, if signed in.
What it never records
- Your IP address — only a salted, one-way fingerprint that can't be reversed.
- Your uploaded images, in normal use — a screenshot is read to transcribe the bet, then discarded (the one exception is a bug report you send; see below).
- Precise or GPS location.
When you report a bug
If you use "Report a bug" on a result you checked from a screenshot, the report includes that bet-slip image so the misread can be reproduced and fixed. The image is scanned for unsafe content and size-limited before storage, is held only in an internal review queue that is never sold or shared, and is deleted permanently when the report is resolved. Typed bets and flagged analyses carry no image. To report a problem without sending the screenshot, use https://x.com/negative__ev instead.
EU / UK / Switzerland
The record is minimized (no city, no referrer, browser family only), no analytics cookie is set, and no consent banner is shown — this internal record is not advertising tracking.
Retention
Individual check records are deleted after 90 days. Aggregate daily counts (which carry none of the details above) may be kept longer.
Your choices
Ask for the records tied to your account or device to be deleted via https://x.com/negative__ev. Deleting your account removes the records linked to it.
